Wedding Tipping Guide: Who to Tip and How Much
I often get asked by clients towards the end of their wedding planning which vendors they are supposed to tip, and how much. There are a lot of guides out there for wedding tipping, some of it conflicting. Plus, I think a lot of it is just a little strange, so I am here to share my opinion on which wedding vendors you should tip, and how much.
What to Include on your New Orleans Wedding Website
Your wedding website is a great way to convey details to your guests, especially if you’re planning a destination wedding. Your website can help guests plan for their travel to your wedding, and let them know what to expect at the wedding (since things can be a little different than what they are used to here in New Orleans!). Plus, you can avoid getting inundated with messages from guests as your date approaches - just send them the link to the website!
What is a “New Orleans Style” Wedding?
We are here to help you understand the differences between a New Orleans style wedding and the weddings you might be used to. New Orleans receptions are typically not seated dinners, but consist of heavy passed items at the start of the reception, open action stations and buffets, with emphasis on lots of food options, lots of beverages, and a highly dynamic and social atmosphere that allows guests to move freely about the reception space. Seating is left open for guests to choose their own seats and tables.
